STAY AWAY! David Ahn is a total flake! We used Apex Tax Services for several years and all was fine UNTIL the IRS asked for some backup documentation in April. Apex Tax Service failed to respond, so we got an IRS bill for $43k and an audit. David Ahn showed up for the audit late and unprepared, Of the two things they wanted to see, he managed to bring one. Then began three months of trying to get him to get the paperwork done, though which he LIED every single time we spoke to him - Oh, I mailed that, Oh, I have that right in front of me and I'm going to the IRS tomorrow, Oh, that's ready for you to pick up tomorrow, lie after lie after lie after lie. Finally after 3 weeks of calling and going to his office EVERY SINGLE DAY he finished up the documentation he said he had merely left at his office on the day of the audit. By now, of course, it is too late and the IRS won't accept it.



I will be going to Apex Tax Service tomorrow and picking up every scrap of paper that lying disgrace has of mine, then start filing complaints w/ all the boards, the IRS and a lawsuit.



STAY AWAY FROM DAVID AHN AND APEX TAX SERVICES

This guy David is totally incompetent. He failed to file our corporate return on time. Then he failed to provide us with our K1s so now, we cant file our personal returns either. What really made me mad was that he kept promising he would definitely email me or fax me my k1 that day. All the while he claimed he had finished our return. Well, after a week of constant calls and his false promises, by April 15th, he finally said he didnt do it. Then he came up with some excuse about his server crashing and all data was lost. A reputable service would have a back system. But not these cheap bastards! It is now the end of April and he still hasnt gotten our corporate return done. Because of him, I cant even submit my personal return until I get the K1 from my corporate return. These guys are incompetent liars and should be avoided like the plague! Do a google search and see all the other disgruntled clients.

We worked with David Ahn for our taxes. He kept on telling me that he was helping me resolve a discrepancy with the IRS. His favorite phrase whenever you ask him questions "Do not worry about it." He does not want to explain what he is doing because he is not actually doing anything. Now we are at risk of the IRS taking away our assets.
