I writing this in tears. I made an appointment with Crystal. I saw her yesterday February 13. She has amazing pictures on Instagram. I thought she would do an amazing job. Well, she was super nice and friendly. I asked for full babylights. She convinced me to do balayage and babylights. She told me to use a shampoo that was sulfate-free and use a purple shampoo once a week. The hair looked good curled. When I got home I felt my hair it felt extremely dry. I washed my hair with a moisturizing sulfate-free shampoo, and conditioner the next day. My hair looks all weird colors and feels like straw. I texted her and she said that they do not guarantee work if someone uses incorrect shampoo. All she had told me was to use a sulfate-free shampoo. She did not give me any list of right and wrong shampoos. Also, I have got my hair baby lighted at and balayage at other salons in the past and this has never happened to my hair. What I mean is that my hair never looks or feels this dry. I should have gone to my usual salon. I was fooled by the nice pictures she had on Instagram. I think she is a sweet person but she did ruin my hair. Today is valentines day. My husband wanted to take me to a nice restaurant. I refuse to leave my house because my hair looks horrendous. This was a mistake that was costly as well. I paid $40 for a deposit. Then I was charged $265 that was after the $40 deducted from the total. Well in total I paid $305 plus tip. I am so sad and devasted now I will have to pay more money to someone else to fix this mistake.
I am writing this to warn others about what can happen to your hair. I know hair is very important to us girls.
