Fremont Elementary School provides educational classes to more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade five. It is one of the oldest and largest schools in Riverside, Calif. Established in 1917, the school is a part of the Riverside Unified School District. It has a multipurpose cafeteria and more than 40 classrooms. The school offers a variety of educational and extracurricular programs for students, as well as teachers. Its Title I program offers classroom support in reading. The school also provides before- and after-school and intercession support and technology programs. The school operates an after-school program, Project Courage, which provides students with homework assistance, recreation and instruction in self-esteem.
