Provided by YP.comLarge stock, overpriced compared to shops in the IE but bad experience! Lazy incompetent staff, wouldn't help me, only greeted me at the door. When requesting more about products usefulness, he said 'I just work here' very unprofessional. Won't be going back, I'll spend my money happily elsewhere. I contacted the management about this issue. And apparently from Yelp and yellow pages, I can see I'm not the only one who's received bad treatment and service at this place

Provided by YP.comI came in here last week with a few questions about Super Soil. Now I've been growing organically indoor and out for years now, but this season I really wanted someone else's recipe to try. Zack, owner of the shop, had no problem giving me his recipe and telling me exactly how he does it all. He told me what he liked and why, and definitely took a Rogerian approach to any of my opinions that differed; I liked that.
When I got to the register, I was planning on dumping my funds for the week, but he hooked me up with such a fat discount I had plenty of money to go out that night and have some fun. There are a lot of big hydro shops in the area to compete with, and Green Forest has nearly the same extensive selection, at an extremely reasonable price.
The employees I noticed can get a little tied up with their customers, but it's because they are trying to provide excellent help. Growers are hard as hell to help out, they all think they know everything and can make things difficult. I still think the guys here at Green Forest are doing a great job. It's definitely worth the drive around nasty Colton to find the place.

Provided by YP.comI have attempted to give these guys a try on three separate occasions, only to be faced with rude and indifferent employees. Not only are they rude, there is little evidence that they understand the fundamentals of hydroponics or nutrient science for that matter. IMO, head somewhere that is going to treat you like a PAYING customer. Hydroponics can be complex, and the last thing novices need is business owners unwilling to promote a open and knowledge-based forum that will help EVERYONE achieve their goals. It is analogous to a restaurant, if you go once and get treated poorly, will you return? Probably not. In addition, ten of your friends will hear of the experience and avoid said establishment at all costs.
