I went to H&R Block 2 years in a row, last year and this year. Last year I had a geat experience with them, and the lady I worked with was super nice and so sweet. She took the extra time to sit down with me and deeply explain certain documents to me and what I was signing. Then this year I went back, well I had gotten a different person and he seemed really nice. But little did I know he was just completely rude, and did not explain anything that I was signing. And when I asked him questions, he wouldn't directly answer. Well I'm only 20 years old, so I really don't know that much about this stuff, I thought he would be professional and actually be truthful with me. Well he wasn't.... He was just looking to get his cut, So after my appt, I really didn't like how my appt., turned out, so I went back to get my moeny and paperwork back from them. Well supposedly they had already transmitted it off to the IRS and I couldn't do anything about it, so I had called my sister-in-law to help me and she called her tax advisor, well they were completely rude to her, hanging up the phone on her not listening to her and what she was saying. All she was trying to do was help me...... Well they didn't give a crap. They got there commission out of me and that was all they cared about... So I WILL NEVER USE H&R BLOCK AGAIN. They screwed me out of my taxes, and I really could use that money. So I recommend to anyone thinking of using H&R Block, run away as fast as you can, because you will not like the outcome.
