Whoever is in charge of collections for this company is a rabid bulldog and completely unreasonable.

I mailed a dispute letter that stated, in part,

"This letter is to attempt to save your company postage and collection attempts in connection with an invoice that is being repeatedly sent to my house. These charges for $55.90 have already been unequivocally disputed via telephonic communications with employees of Safe-T Security. Said phone call resulted in an angry employee hanging up on me.

Since the day my household first signed up for Safe-T Security monitoring, we paid for the entire year in-full before services began. When the year was over, we would get another invoice and we would pay in full for the year again. However, after the third year we decided not to renew and not to pay.

We called in our cancellation request, and followed that up with a letter. Now Safe-T is trying to collect for two months of service that was not agreed to nor requested."

These guys have been unrelenting in trying to get paid for two months of service that I didn't want, nor did I contract for. I'm not sure if I want the hassle of suing them -- and I also don't want the hassle of suing them if they do anything to damage my credit for a disputed bill.

I can't believe a company wouldn't just write this off as a $55 mistake. Instead, they're getting a frustrated ex-customer review.
