Four generations of our family have been clients at the Riverview Animal Hospital for over 40 years. We have always received great care and been treated like family. Until....

The clinic was sold last year. On two occasions, in the midst of one of our pets passing, we were told "sorry we cannot see you today"!

It happened again today- my elderly mother called the clinic to take in her elderly dog as he was having trouble breathing- my mother was in tears. The clinic told my mother "sorry- can't see you today"- although it was 8:00 AM and they were open until noon. They told her to take him to the animal ER- too busy!

I called Bloomingdale Animal Hospital and explained what was happening. They never hesitated- immediately saying bring him right in. Thankfully he only has a bad cold and respiratory infection. They treated my mother with kindness and cared for her and her dog.
We will now be taking our pets to Bloomindgale Anaimal Hospital!

Very sad to see a community vet clinic who has always been a caring part of the RIverview community, an icy, corporate , non-caring medical facility!

In January 2012, my beautiful 10 year old Beagle Anne became very sick. Tests confirmed that she had cancer and could not be cured. Annie began having severe seizures and convulsions and was suffering. My love for Annie helped me make the decision to have her euthanized; she did not deserve to suffer.



During the euthanasia process Dr. Vargo and the staff supported me. They cared; Annie and I were not alone. I will never be able to express my gratitude to the staff at Riverview Veterinarian Hospital especially Dr. Morgan Vargo. The professionalism, compassion and sincere concern shown to me and my Annie by Dr. Vargo were beyond any expectations. The office staff especially Bonnie are very sensitive and thoughtful.



Thank you Riverview Veterinary Hospital for taking wonderful care of my Annie and being there for her when she needed you.
