So I filed a complaint against All Brick Repair and Shane St. John with the Better Business Bureau. After a month, he responds that All Brick Repair is not a business, the address belongs to Riverview Shore, which repairs boats and he doesn't know what we are talking about. The address does belong to his second business. This guy is bad news whether you want masonry work done or a boat repaired. STAY AWAY FROM HIM.

This guy who claims to have a business with a good reputation is a complete liar. He doesn't pay for parts on time and does sloppy work. Downriver already has a bad rep, he gives it a worse one.

if any one has any brains they will see these reviews are by the same guy and his friends, the first is the this guy who was clearly a drunk and drug adddiction who took his boat out after I fixed it and ruin my good rebuilds each time he would come back with his boat totalled and say "OH can you fix my Boat again", then he was so cheap he wanted to wait for after market parts that he knew that took forever to get , this drunk and his buddys who keep this sight alive because they sit at someones home a doing drugs to the point they think they are damaging my business , , Riverview Shores Marine has a good reputation

I would like to talk to anyone...

NEW POSTING...

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE "RIPPED OFF" CUSTOMERS OF RIVERVIEW SHORES WHO HAVE ALREADY CONTACTED ME. IF THERE IS ANYONE ELSE WHO WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A PART IN THIS, IT IS NOT TOO LATE. AS FOR SHANE SAYING ALL THE REVIEWS ARE FROM ONE PERSON, HE IS WRONG!!! I DID NOT KNOW ANY OF YOU BEFORE, BUT I AM SURE THROUGH THE PROCESS WE WILL. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR INPUT AND I AM SURE THE COURTS WILL SEE THINGS OUR WAY.

AGAIN MY EMAIL IS [email protected]

This is my origional post...

I would like to talk to anyone who has had a bad experience with this guy...

He has had our boat since fall 2009. First, our outdrive went "missing" and he said he would give us a good deal on replacing it and fixing some other problems. He started in November 2010. Since then he has called several times for money (He is good at that). He keeps PROMISING that the boat will be done at different dates, but he never comes through. He has excuse after excuse. He never returns calls, so now my husband just went up there and the boat is in the same spot since at least Memorial Day. I have paid this guy $1000 and he has not even touched it except to tear it apart. Now the boat isn't usable or worth anything!!

PLEASE contact me!! We will be taking him to court and my brother is a court officer so he WILL collect.

Thanks,

Boat Engine Repairs

Just the facts Maam. Fact 1: My friends boat engine suffers a catastrophe engine failure late summer of 09. Fact 2: Takes his boat to Riverview shores for repair. Fact 3: Riverview Shores rebuilds his engine and carburators for $2500. Fact 4: Takes boat out first time after rebuild that fall and auto choke does not work and Riverview Shores charges $157 to replace choke. Boating season over. Fact 5: My friend takes boat out first time in spring of 2010 and will not start. Riverview Shores charges him $180 to repair. Fact 6: Takes boat out second time and electrical system has problems and engine runs rough. Riverview Shores charges him $289 to repair short and informs him that engine has suffered exact same catastrophe failure as before. Fact 7: Riverview Shores informs friend that engine failure is result of a part that was not replaced during 1st rebuild and WARRANTY rebuild would cost $825. Fact 8: Riverview Shores calls friend up and now needs another $800 for new crankshaft. Fact 9: Very long story short, 14, count them, 14 weeks later, $1600 WARRANTY rebuild is complete. Friend takes boat home. Fact 10: Trailer tung bent, trailer jack broken, engine cowl latch missing, carburator still leaking gas, numerous bolts on engine less that finger tight, and TRANSMISSON will not shift into foward or reverse. My friend dosen't even know if engine runs and is afraid to attemp to start it. Fact 11: My friend is way too nice because I would have kicked owners A$$ 13 weeks ago. For your own good, stay away from Riverview Shores.
