This is a great little neighborhood restaurant with delicious south of the border fare. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is accommodating. Separate dining room for smokers. Entire restaurant in No Smoking on Sundays. And just because it is Mexican does not mean it has to be spicy hot. Many, many flavorful dishes without the heat. Lunch and dinner specials every day.

We have eaten at La Tolteca since it first opened--sometimes 2 or 3 times a week. Every dish is delicious and well prepared. Mexican dishes do not have to be spicy either. They have an extensive menu to meet every taste. Staff is attentive and even willing to help patrons learn Spanish. Muy bueno.
