Ashlie Phenes is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is skilled and experienced in mental health counseling, providing support to adults, families, and groups by increasing patient management of mental health symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use disorders, grief, financial stressors, family/relationship issues, as well as other severe mental health disorders. Ashlie has experience providing support through an evidence-based, eclectic approach centered in Cognitive Behavioral techniques, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapies, and Rational Emotive Behavior therapy with an emphasis on unconditional positive regard, validation, and empathy. She provides safe, inclusive, confidential, and non-judgmental space for anyone who may be struggling. Ashlie defines success as an individual increasing confidence to utilize learned skills outside of therapy. Currently, she is building a program to provide intake/triage to patients on the psychiatry wait list.
