Back Elementary School offers academic programs to students in kindergarten through grade five. The school conducts classes in reading, writing, basic skills, English, math, science, social studies, music, and health and physical education. Back Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that organizes educationally centered community events throughout the year. The school has a media center that assists students in the development of information literacy skills. Back Elementary School also offers an accelerated reader program that emphasizes on students reading skills. In addition, the school provides recycling services for empty ink and toner cartridges, used cell phones, laptops, newspapers, phone books and aluminum cans. Back Elementary School is a part of the Garland Independent School District and is located in Rowlett, Texas.
