Cave Spring Middle School, located in Roanoke, Va., offers an extensive curriculum for students in grades six through eight. The school is governed by the Roanoke County Public Schools and enrolls more than 600 students. It offers a variety of subjects, including English, language arts, literature, social studies, life and physical science, mathematics, and health and physical education. The school also has various special subjects, such as foreign language, music, band, chorus, business education and computer technology. The school provides a number of facilities that include a computer laboratory, library and media center and a cafeteria. It provides a variety of sports activities that include basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, wrestling and track and field. Cave Spring Middle School has a parent-teacher association and offers counseling service to review the overall upbringing of the children.
