Dr. Mark Kochenderfer received his MD and his BA at West Virginia University. He completed his internal medicine residency and his hematology/oncology fellowship at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. While at Wake Forest, Dr. Kochenderfer was honored with serving as chief fellow from 2004 to 2005. After completing his fellowship, he served as an assistant professor of medicine at the Wake Forest University Comprehensive Cancer Center for two years. He is board certified in medical oncology, hematology, and internal medicine. As an active participant in the medical community, Dr. Kochenderfer holds memberships with the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
