Northside High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. The school operates a student service department for the purpose of providing comprehensive support services to all students to prepare them for postsecondary studies and productive citizenry. Its student service department employs a dropout intervention specialist, work-based learning coordinator and full-time counselors. The school also offers scholarships to students based on their academic achievements and athletic abilities In addition, Northside High School offers a range of courses, such as an agriscience, business education, career and technology education, English, family and consumer science, fine arts, and health and family education. Located in Roanoke, Va., the school is a part of Roanoke County Public Schools.
