The employees are incredibly rude. Sadly, I get treated much better at Walmart My wife parked the car and rolled the windows down for my dog to run in and get something at the counter and back out. The employees called my wife to the front and told her that she was lying when she said the windows were down. Also just walking around holding a vaporizer, the staff will walk up to you and remind you that you can't do that in there.

For people so concerned about 1 dog in the car with the windows down, they sure have a big selection of dead animals that knew unspeakable tortures. On another occasion I was kicked out for having a very small animal in a carrier, so which is it? I can't even bring my animal in and if I don't you will harass me for cracking the windows?

This place is for spoiled brats to get expensive food, nothing about decency towards customers or any mindfulness towards the environment or animals.

Absolutely shameful that an overweight meat eater (cashier) will tell me that I am not treating my rescued animal with respect.

On another occasion, a poor homeless man was harassed at the downtown location, called a "bum" and "trash" by the person running the store for being near the store. I was absolutely furious and called and complained. Nothing was done. This place is absolutely shameful and I feel much better giving my business elsewhere rather than fuel such pretentious and rude employees.

It never ceases to amaze me that whatever is talked about by Dr. Oz, I call the co-op, the very day it is mentioned on T.V. and they are out of stock. I don't understand, why they only have several things ....such as 3-4 bottles of something or 5 bags of something. I made a special trip to get a specific type of tea and of course they were out. Always happens. It appears they don't plan very well.

Not what it used to be

I shopped here on three separate occasion and the first two times I saw customers complaining about employees. I thought the customers were overreacting at first, until I was treated impolitely. I was refused a purchase of beer because the employee did not accept my ID. I am 32 years old with a beard and mustache. I produced a valid Military ID and an Arizona State ID and the employee said they could be fake! I thought it was humorous if not embarrassing, but I wrote a note in the complaint box leaving my phone number and stated that I would return shopping there once management gave me a call.

That was 3 months ago and I still have not heard from them, nor will I ever shop there again until I do. One of the ladies I saw complaining was about an employee yelling at her children. I now think this too was unacceptable.
