So the building Stiles by Design is currently in may not be the prettiest one in Roanoke, and true, the store is small, but the custom-design necklace that Kristi Stiles made for me (which was given to my grandmother) was truly exceptional.

I made an appointment for a consultation with Kristi on a rather dreary Saturday afternoon to talk about the design of my necklace. She arrived punctually and full of ideas. I cannot say I am the most imaginative or creative person in the world, but I can say with confidence that Mrs. Stiles worked as hard as she could to form my ideas into reality. The result of about one and a half hours of discussion and careful planning was extraordinary. Kristi told me that the necklace would take her one to two weeks to create. I left pleased and uplifted that my dear grandmother would have something special for her birthday. When I returned a week and a half later, I was shocked at the beauty of the necklace Kristi had made for me. The attention to detail was astounding, and I must say that I can't wait to return to Stiles by Design for another great present for my family and friends (or maybe even a little present for myself).
