The Gymnastic training center of Rochester was Dave Begian's dream in 1981 and a reality in May 1982. The Gymnastic Training Center is a 25,000 square foot facility providing training for over 1600 students. The GTC staff numbers over 50 members working as directors, instructors, coaches, media coordination, and office personnel. The purpose of GTC is to provide safe, challenging, and enthusiastic environment for boys and girls to train in gymnastics. It is the largest, state-of-the-art, junior Olympic training center in Michigan and one of the largest in the United States.
