I am not one to write reviews, but I had to share our experience regarding this AMAZING company because they truly exceeded our expectations on every level! We chose Colorado Wedding Productions for ALL THREE SERVICES (DJ, photography, and videography) and we were blown away by each of their performances at our wedding! We were so lucky to have Shaun Piazza as our DJ/Master of Ceremony, Amber and Mary as our photographers, and Ben and Lindsay as our videographers! They were all very professional, prompt, unique in their area of expertise, and fun!! Weddings can be stressful, but thanks to Colorado Wedding Productions, our day was stress-free and absolutely incredible! We would highly recommend any of these professionals, but especially all of them together because they work so well as a team! It did not feel like they were there for a job, but rather to be a part of our day and make it as wonderful as possible! Please consider these individuals for your wedding! Carl DJ'd our wedding ceremony and reception in October 2016. He is newer to Colorado Wedding Productions, so we were a little skeptical at first. Once he showed up on the big day, we knew we didn’t have a reason to worry. He proved himself at our wedding in a big way, taking charge of the reception with confidence! He is very professional and walked us through the whole process with the planning sheet. I am very big on planning every last detail and he had thought of some things that had never even crossed my mind!

We felt very relaxed throughout the wedding because we knew he had everything under control. He played the songs we requested and then some others that went with the genres we chose. He is good at reading the crowd and knowing which songs are appropriate for that particular time or the group that is on the dance floor.

Best of all, he had everyone dancing and that is a pretty big feat for a daytime wedding! I still have friends and relatives raving a month later about how much fun they had and how they have never danced so much at a wedding. This was very good to hear as I was worried that no one would dance at a daytime wedding. Many people have told me that they have been to so many "stuffy" weddings, but mine was actually fun and they were able to dance & enjoy themselves! We would definitely recommend DJ Carl and Colorado Wedding Productions to anyone looking for a great DJ!

We had Shaun Piazza from Colorado Wedding Productions for our wedding. He helped us have such a fun wedding and even better dance party! I can not thank Shaun enough for his professionalism. He always checked in with us about how the party is going, if there are any spurt of the moment songs we would like to hear, and any other special requests he could commit to that would make our night even more special. I highly recommend Shaun as a DJ for your wedding.
I should also add that he met with us about what we desire beforehand and was extremely personable. He also always got back to us quickly when we had any question before the wedding.

The level of professionalism was outstanding with Colorado Wedding Productions. They were very easy to work with and the price was right! We hired Jesse for our wedding as a DJ at the Rembrandt Yard. Jesse was phenomenal, I have never been at a wedding that had so many people on the dance floor for so long. We didn't sit down once after we got up to cut the cake. The music he chose for before the ceremony and during cocktail hour was perfect and he understood our favorite music well. He played appropriate requests, organized our grand entrance, even got me a drink while we waited outside to be announced and most importantly kept the energy going until the very last song of the night. In my opinion, he was better than we had even hoped. He is very serious about his job and you can tell he works hard to make everything run smoothly.

Shaun with Colorado Wedding Productions was the absolute best wedding DJ we could have asked for! Not only did Shaun lead us through the planning process efficiently and with zero stress, but he perfectly executed all elements of the wedding day itself as well. When Shaun says he's got this, you can be 110% confident that he's got this. Shaun read the room perfectly, adjusted on the fly, and kept our guests (and us!) on the dance floor for the entirety of the night. Literally there was not a moment during the reception when the dance floor was not completely full! Shaun was extremely attentive to detail, but also ran the show day-of as our emcee totally independently and flawlessly. With just a few song and genre suggestions and examples he completely nailed the collective mood and feel we were going for in all aspects of the wedding. We were told by multiple wedding guests that our wedding's music was the most thoughtful they'd ever heard and that the overall environment was amazing. We would highly recommend Shaun for any DJ needs, especially for your upcoming wedding!

Shaun helped to make our special day go off without any problems what so ever. He managed to play the vast majority of our selected music as well as requests that were within the overall theme of our wedding. If he wasn’t sure about something, he would ask. He was one of the first ones at our wedding venue and one of the last ones out. I would highly recommend that anyone looking for DJ services for their wedding give Shaun and Colorado Wedding Productions a call. They definitely went above and beyond, you won’t be disappointed.

We used Carl for our wedding in Colorado this summer and he did a truly phenomenal job. Even before the wedding, they provided a detailed planning sheet that helped us figure out exactly what we wanted out of the night. At the wedding itself, Carl was incredibly helpful and kept the night flowing with ease. He played a great variety of music to appeal to everyone at the wedding. He kept checking in with us as the night went by to make sure he was getting everything and making sure things were going exactly how we wanted. Beyond playing music, he went out of his way to help in any way he could to make sure things were going smoothly. In addition, he arrived very early to ensure everything was set up perfectly for the evening, taking any worries or stress from our night. Overall, he did an awesome job and we would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ.

After reading several reviews online in search of a DJ for their wedding, our daughter new son-in-law decided to go with Colorado Wedding Productions for their wedding reception. I needed to write an online review to express just pleased we were with our DJ, Carl. He arrived early and was fully set up and in place well before the wedding guests started making their way into the reception site from the church. Carl was extremely professional, yet very approachable at the same time and made it be known to everyone in the room that song requests were welcomed by all. He really did a fantastic job of reading the crowd and playing a little bit of everything, in order to keep all of our guests happy, from the young children all the way up to the 70 year olds, all of whom were out on the dance floor for a good portion of the evening. Should we ever need a DJ in the future for another wedding or special event, we'll be sure to use this company again, as we could not have been more pleased.

Shaun came on recommendation from our wedding planner for our wedding just a few weeks ago, and we couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. He was a great MC, was extremely affordable, and made the process easy and fun for us. He was also quick to respond to emails and very communicative. Aside from the first-dance songs, we gave him free reign to play whatever he wanted to and he hit it out of the park. Our guests had such a great time dancing the night away; my only regret is that the party couldn't have gone on for days! Thanks Shaun!

Brett was such a fantastic D.J. for our wedding event. He was on target with our desires for a non-traditional but fun wedding ceremony, followed by a celebration party along with our music selections. We wanted our guests to get out and enjoy themselves on the dance floor as well as be comfortable enough to mingle amongst themselves. His selections for our day were PERFECT! He really did such an amazing job and our guests complimented our choice to go with a D.J service for our special day instead of just having a pre made playlist available. We had a blast, and our family and friends did too.

Carl and Shaun were amazing! They were great to work with throughout the entire process. They were on time and had such great upbeat personalities! Shaun was an amazing DJ for our wedding. Our wedding was at an elite country club, but sweet and simple. We had a small wedding of only about 35 guests that included all ages. We were unsure if we even wanted a DJ. But we definitely now saw the benefits of having a DJ. Shaun coordinated the entire wedding. And even though our wedding was small he made the wedding feel grand! He treated us and our requests with care. All our guests had a great time, and we danced (the young and old). He has a great way of feeling the crowd. I enjoyed his demeanor and professionalism. You won't have to deal with overpriced marketers. He is down to earth. What you see is what you get! Don't hesitate when considering a DJ call Shaun.

Sean absolutely nailed it. We love music. GOOD music, and were very specific about what could, and couldn't be played at our wedding. He had everybody on the dance floor literally from the first to the last dance. He didn't miss a beat and would always check with us before playing any requests that he thought we wouldn't like. He did a great job as an MC for the speeches too, and was extremely autonomous with setup and breakdown. He knew what he was doing, knew what we wanted, and delivered. They had no problem hiking up a mountain, and hanging out in 35* weather, just so we had an amazing ceremony location. It is with great enthusiasm that my husband and I write this testimonial about Shaun Piazza, owner of Colorado Wedding Productions. Above all he was competent, calm and sensitive to all of our needs. We had a small ensemble sing at the ceremony and he was able to make sure the group had the microphones and balance needed for a professional sound. In fact, he made a special effort to purchase additional microphone chord to ensure we had enough. Numerous people commented on the music Shaun played during dinner as it appealed across the generations. Shaun was the master of ceremonies during the reception and kept everything running on time. He delivered his message with heart, sincerity and enthusiasm. Several times during the evening we needed to make sure messages got to the guests and Shaun always responded to our needs. It was never a problem for him to do ‘one more thing’. Shaun managed the dance like a conductor directs an orchestra with energy, creativity and joy. There’s so much to think about when planning a wedding. Hire Shaun to run your ceremony and you can take comfort in knowing you have hired the most competent person for the job.

I was planning my wedding from out of state for August 8th and found Shaun on theknot. We spoke over the phone and got to meet in person a few months before the wedding. He was very professional and easy to work with! He made the planning process much easier, he accommodate whenever we needed, he provided song suggestions if we needed and allowed us the whole freedom to choose it all if we wanted to. We ended up picking the important song selections for stuff like the entrance, and the events that took place inside the reception but everything else we pretty much left it up to him and he did a wonderful job transitioning through the night! He was fun and did great being the MC for the night and coordinating with the caterer and was attentive to our needs. I had a blast and so did everyone else at the reception and would highly recommend him to any of my friends!



My dad also wrote this review for him: "Shaun did a fantastic job for our daughter’s wedding event. I arranged to have Shaun provide this service via phone since we were from out of town. He was very easy to work with and accommodated our situation without any problems. Prior to the event he met with my son in law who filled out his planning form. That helped to guide the overall event and included specifics about timing, flow, preferred songs, toasts, dances, etc. He coordinated with our caterer and venue planner as well. On the day of the event he showed up exactly as planned, set up quickly, and went over a few last minute details with me for a few announcements and such. He is very efficient and complete.The wedding reception went very well as we had hoped. The timing, mood and music selections were perfect. He kept the event right on schedule and the tempo matched everything going on. Everyone had a fantastic time dancing right up until the last note and the energy level was incredible. Afterward I heard nothing but praises for the whole event much of which I can attribute to Shaun. I would definitely recommend him for any event!"

We hired Shaun for our Sept. 5th wedding. We had only spoken to him on the phone prior to the wedding but everything went smoothly! He was very organized, worked great with our other vendors, and checked in with us before toasts, special dances, etc... His attention to detail was outstanding! The music selections were great and had awesome transitions. He even through in a song from my childhood that my sister mentioned in her speech earlier that night! It was a blast! He was able to read the room well and change songs if needed. Our only downfall was that it was a bit hot in our venue so a lot of people moved to the porch outside and weren't dancing. It had nothing to do with the DJ though! We had many positive comments from our guests! I would definitely recommend Shaun!

My wife and I weren't quite sure how to go about planning our wedding but the moment we met Shaun we knew our wedding was going to be fantastic! Shaun handled the music and MC'd our event and was personable, energetic, and really got the entire party involved and engaged! We were super nervous because we had to book our DJ from out of state. After checking out heaps of online profiles, Shauns first hilarious picture of all the guys on the floor stood out! It looked like fun! And his website video really just sealed the deal! Shaun cares about each wedding and grew up learning music from his Dad! Shaun was awesome from the first contact and always available for questions. He sent us his song request form, which was so thorough, it basically shaped my entire wedding! :) It was a huge help!

My schedule was jam-packed with a newborn during wedding planning time so Shaun contacted me a few weeks prior to go over my wedding plan, and my entire large wedding party's names to make sure he said them right. His customer service is legendary!!!

Shaun incorporated a long list of unique songs we wanted played during the evening, and kept the dance floor going the entire night by mixing in brand new hit songs, classics, and favorites. It was an epic, memorable evening thanks to Shaun and Carl. Carl even got out on the dance floor to join in on the fun for a while! They were definitely a part of the family by the end of the evening!! Outstanding!!!! I hope we have another event where we need a DJ just so we can book Shaun again!!! :) Thanks Guys!!!!! *****
