The dude just jumped town last year sometime for some sunny climate. hmmm. Didn't even clue in his landlord.

This guy has no formal computer training. Just some moron who thinks he knows how to fix computers.

Went there after another place said I had a bad motherboard. Computer smarts looked at it and said it was just a stick of memory that was not pushed in....They saved my computer and I was in and out in one day! Great service and Great prices! I read some of the reviews on Google and I am shocked to say the least. I am a professional business woman from Minneapolis who was in Rochester on business (9/10). My laptop froze up and I was out of business. I looked in the yellow pages called Computer Smartz and took my laptop in at 1:30pm. I asked how much will it be to fix it same day? I quote "$49.95 for the diagnostics, this was to see what was wrong with it only. I understood that, then he said "No matter what is wrong with it we will fix for only $49.95 whether it takes 1 hour or 20 hours!" I said "GREAT! Then he asked if they have to put Windows back on would I like my data saved, I said "YES!" He said "that is an additional $60.00." I also signed a receipt that had all what he told in writing. NOT ONLY WAS MY COMPUTER REPAIRED (by 5:45pm) BUT IT WAS RUNNING BETTER THAN I CAN REMEMBER. ALL MY DATA WAS SAVED AND THE LAPTOP WAS IN PERFECT WORKING ORDER. Worst customer service ever and misleading ads. You'll be lucky if your bill is under $100! Watch out for extra charges that you don't approve. Check other sites for the exact same complaints over and over.

I own a business in Rochester that is 90% internet. I called Computer Smartz to come over and take a look at it. We ended up bringing it to them and they said it would be 1 day to repair. They still did not have the compter fixed on Saturday (brought it there on Friday). The employees were arguing about something they were "not supposed to do" to it. They then said they would deliver it to our store on MOnday morning. On Monday morning the store was closed and the owner finally answered the phone at 2pm saying he had no idea what was going on with my computer and that we should call his technicians cell phone number. I then told him he owns the place and should call his technician. He then hung up on me and I still have no computer. Pretty much this is a complete nightmare
