Their "technician" came out in an emergency water leak situation in our kitchen floor. The advice we got was that the water came from excessive rain (never happened in the 15 years we've been here). Yet the kitchen floor was also warm (turns out that there was a burst kitchen waterpipe leaking hot water under the floor). Yet their "technician"'s explanation was that sometimes "water mixes with chemicals, causing a chemical reaction that produces heat." For his later-proven wrong advice, and a quick cap placed over the source that took 10 minutes, we were charged $160. My favorite part was the mysterious "truck charge" on the bill with no explanation. We instead contacted TONNA MECHANICAL who accurately assessed the situation and fixed the problem. When we contested these charges with Himec in a letter to them, we received no reply, we were just sent immediately to collections. I would not return to this business even in an emergency, as their advice was proved greatly untrustworthy.
