We have used the Rochester Cremation Services two times in the past five years. My father-in-law was in hospice and was at my daughters when he passed away. Mike came to her house and very respectfully removed my father-in-law from my daughter's home and explained that when we were ready, to stop by his office the next day to discuss the details. My mother-in-law had limited resources so rather than try to sell her and expensive urn from his collection, he suggested she could go to a local store that sold beautiful vases - or containers that she could keep his remains in rather than spend $300 on an urn. He was helpful with comforting the family and taking care of the details. He wasn't pushy in trying to sell things or make us feel guilty about not buying the best of everything. My mother-in-law was not comfortable with cremation - she had always wanted a traditional funeral, but after she saw how much respect was shown to her husband by Mike, she decided, that she wanted to be cremated as well because it was more affordable and more natural. When she passed away several years later in the hospital, we call Mike again to take care of everything again and we received the same positive service. We would strongly recommend Rochester Cremation Services.
