A Dogs Dream is the best day care and play group for small dogs in Rochester. it is just the type of place you want to bring your dog. The staff is great, Emily and Rachel are professional and personable. I trust them. They make a difference every day to my dog Lola. She can't wait to play with her pack and is very happy to be there in the relaxed setting. They can even do her nails for me!

I've taken my dog here twice to different groomers. Recently they have raised their prices a considerable amount. The most recent time I looked over my dog upon picking her up and commented to the groomer that in the middle of the rear leg, she had "gouged" the hair out with the clippers. Almost like cutting a bald spot in the middle of tall hair. She had no response. I asked about why she blended the face line and then after getting home noticed, she blended one side but not the opposite side. Also after getting home I found 2 more shear gouge marks in the coat. REALLY? For what you charge a inexperienced groomer could have done better. Really not happy.

Love this place. Groomer listens well to what I want for my dog. He actually enjoys getting groomed now. Daycare is a blast for him, always gets so excited when he realizes where he is. Place has always seemed to be clean, friendly staff.

I was told by the owner that my female dog wasn't "social enough" for A Dog's Dream because she would sit whenever another dog tried to sniff her bottom. I found it very odd since any other care facility she has played at had nothing but raves for how sweet and fun she is. The facility seemed well maintained, but there is no real outdoor space for them to play.

We have chosen A Dog's Dream for grooming because we wanted a place that wasn't "commercial" Having the same groomer every time is wonderful because they get to know your pet and the pet gets to know the groomer! Her experience showed with the grooming. I have been to other places where my dog has been scratched or shaved to the skin and I was not told about it. I would find out about it after we got home and I would pet him. This groomer is very professional, unlike other places I have been to.
