This is where you get the best, most refreshing, italian ices in the world! From a family owned restaurant (Al's Stand, see my review) that has been making the same great products for 3 generations and 70+ years!!!!!! My families favorite!

Als Stand is like a treasure in the middle of the city. Family owned for 70+ years. Going in is like going back to the 1950's, but originally, not re-made 50's like other restaurants. The food is burgers, fries, fun food but with homemade italian sausage, fresh sliced rib eye steak and original hot sauce that has been a family recipe since 1936. And when your ready for dessert, they make the original italian lemon ice thats the best ever! Its worth the trip just for the homemade italian ices. I've eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Al's Stand for over 40 years now, and have watched 3 generations own/operate it. thats why its my favorite restaurant.
