Early Childhood Services Division operates the Childhood Development Center, which offers early education services and several recreational activities. The Childhood Development Center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. It serves children up to the age of 3 and pregnant mothers. The center offers the Head Start program, which emphasizes the mental, social, emotional and physical development of children from low-income families. The Head Start program offers medical and health screening services and various indoor and outdoor activities. The program also includes educational workshops and seminars. Early Childhood Services Division is a part of Action for a Better Community.
