Founded in 1822, the Town of Greece Police Department has a staff of more than 90 sworn officers and over 50 full- and part-time civilian employees. It serves more than 94,000 residents of Rochester, N.Y. The department operates road patrol, detective, warrant, fugitive and court divisions. It offers a range of forensic services and programs, such as drug, firearms and ammunition, and breath-alcohol analysis and identification programs. The Town of Greece Police Department also operates a central records division that provides criminal and accidental reports compiled by the sheriff s office.
