My sister, nieces and I just had the worst travel experience ever with Heaven on Earth. We were going to Paris for my niece's high school graduation gift. We used a travel agent who booked us a supposedly "luxury" apartment in Paris. Heaven on Earth boasts on their website (http://www.heavenlyvilla…) that they book luxurious apartments throughout the civilized world. Our apartment was anything but luxurious. When we arrived, it was dirty and not stocked with towels, soap and the beds only had a worn, see-thru flat sheet over a bare mattress. It was like camping or like something you would see in a two star motel (not hotel, but motel). After a very long travel day from California and waiting six hours for the apartment to be cleaned and stocked with linens and soap, it was not done. We had to check in to a hotel so we could shower and sleep after being awake for 24 hours. We received no service, apologies or response to our problem from Heaven on Earth. Actually, quite the contrary. Their best offense was defense (or should I say outright lying about the situation). They claimed the apartment was cleaned and had towels and soap. This was not true. They also said all beds in Paris are made with just a sheet over a bare mattress. That doesn't sound right for a luxurious apartment to me. Our hotel had beautiful bedding with mattress pads and crisp, clean linens. I would stay away from this company.
