AVOID this business!!! Stewart Winston is the president of this company and he is a liar & cheater. He sold me a used car claiming that he was legally bound to sell a car that could pass inspection. He also claimed that the car had been checked over twice by his mechanic. The ad for the car stated that it had air conditioning.



After purchasing the car and taking it for inspection, I found out it had about a dozen serious problems. One of the problems was that there was no air conditioning. It also could not pass inspection.



The AC repair was going to start at $1,000. Stewart refused to pay for it, even though his ad claimed that the car had AC.



He agreed to pay a modest amount for the inspection related repairs, although his figures were not realistic. I had faxed him my estimate and he refused to meet the actual costs.



It took almost a year of ongoing angry and harassing phone calls to get Stewart to pay $300 towards the air conditioning repair.



Usually he ignored my calls but only by tricking him and using pay phones so he could not recognize the number, was the only way to get him to answer when I called. This went on for almost a year before he realized that I was not going away. At that point I had already had the AC repaired ($1,000!!!) and he would only pay $300, so I cut my loses and took the payment.



NEVER NEVER NEVER do business with this guy unless you want to be lied to, cheated and ripped off!



The sad thing is that I went to his home to look at the car. He is an older man and seemed genuinely nice. I enjoyed doing business with him at first.



What a huge mistake!
