annie at the carriage house did a fabulous job with my wedding. My husband and I are both from rochester ny but since my husband joined the navy 3 years ago we live in virginia beach. when we decided to get married we knew we had to go back home to get married but the question was where and how was I going to plan a wedding in virginia beach for rochester. I looked through the banquete facility and came across the carriage house and saw how perfect it looked so I called my parents and told them to go check it out. They told it was perfect so annie helped me with all my planning over the phone and internet and really made me feel like she was part of the family. I flew home and saw the carriage house for the first time in person in september and said wow this is really beautiful and couldnt have been happier with my decicion. Our wedding day arrived on october 27th 2007 and it was dark and windy and sprinkling but I had faith that it would clear up by 2pm so we could get married out by the gazeebo. Well during the pictures before the ceremony it was cloudy and cold but I still kept my faith. Finaly 2pm came and the sun peaked out for us and we were married out at the gazeebo it was perfect. We then went in and had cocktail hour the arrangment she put out for the guest was excellent. Then dinner time came and everything was hot and fresh and such a great price the guest raved and went for seconds. The cake was so beautiful with all the flowers cascading down to our cinderella and prince charming cake topper everyone raved about how beautiful and delicious it was. All in all the carriage house is a beautiful place to have your wedding or any engagement. Annie is a wounderful sweetheart of a person. My fall wedding was so perfect I wouldnt have changed anything, and the staff was so friendly there. Make sure you take a look at the carriage house when your ready to get married.
