We were heading home from a vacation and were having problems with our tires. On Sunday, New Years Eve Day we were stopping every couple of hours and putting air in the tires- when we got to Rock Falls, all of the air hoses were not working because of the cold - the 2 girls working were so helpful in trying to help us out as we had another 150 miles to go- a big shout out to the girls and Thumper for your help - we were so thankful of your help.

I strongly urge everyone to not shop at the grand detour Illinois shell gas station. The manager Shannon would rather hire back a employee that has been fired for stealing rather then hire a male with over 2 years experience in gas station management that hasbeen aapplying there regularly for over 2 years now. Because as her fellow employees say she's lazy and don't wanna have to train. And who doesn't like males.As well as their clerks tthere are beyond rude to their customers. I strongly urge anyone thinking about stopping there to wait till Dixon or Oregon Illinois to get your gas smokes beer and food. Don't support sexist rude attendants and managers. As well and they will triple bill your debit cards without you knowing.
