Best guitar teacher I've ever had. Taught me from the age of 13 through college. I now teach guitar in Iowa and use his methods. I suggest anyone wanting to learn to properly play guitar, to go with this guy!

I don't understand why there are such low reviews. While growing up I have learned how to play 6 different instruments. I have had numerous teachers and band directors... and Danny is one of the few teachers who stand out.



I've been to the typical musical store for lessons (piano, flute, guitar and drums) and always wondered if I was truly getting my money's worth. The difference between Danny's studio versus a music store is his background, passion and organization. When I went to a music store to learn guitar I was only there for 3 months because my teacher only taught me how to play songs. I asked him to show me more theory... and that I wanted to learn scales and he never did. If all you want to do is learn how to cover songs you hear on the radio, that's fine... a music store is where you should go! But Danny's Studio goes beyond that.



Yes I learn how to play songs but also technique, scales, even some theory. If you want to become a well-rounded guitar player you should see danny! He documents your progress and will "quiz" you to keep you on your toes. His prices are the standard price for lessons. And he is VERY personable, friendly and always has a smile on his face.
