We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God which reveals to us the way of salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our sins are washed away by His blood shed on the cross at Calvary, and we are redeemed from our guilt, death, and hell by grace through faith alone in Christ, and not by anything meritorious that we might do. The Church watchfully anticipates the day when Christ will return again as Judge from heaven, and until that day works to proclaim the Gospel of salvation to a world of lost sinners.We commemorate and perpetuate our belief in Christs atoning work by the use of the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion. As redeemed people in covenant communion with God, we also purpose in this life to offer ourselves unto Him as sacrifices of thanksgiving for the redemption He has given us as in Christ as a free gift of His sovereign grace.The Bible is our only absolute authority for faith and life. We have adopted the Heidelberg Catechism (1563), the Belgic Confession (1561), and the Canons of Dort (1619) as our confessional standards. We believe these three forms of unity faithfully summarize the doctrines of the Word of God.
