The employees of this Rockdale store have no respect for their customers, refuse to wear a mask to protect us, even when asked to do so, either inside or at the drive-thru window. When I asked the employee at the window to wear a mask to protect me, she laughed. When I told her I had a dear friend die from Covid 2 weeks ago and that my brother has terminal cancer, so I can't afford to be exposed, she also laughed. When I noticed she was wearing a sweatshirt that read "Jesus loves you ... and so do I." I told her that obviously she doesn't love me or she would respect me and protect me by wearing a mask... and she laughed AGAIN. This is despicable and irresponsible behavior by your employees in these days of Covid. I am 72 years old, am compromised from cancer surgery and a blood disorder, and do not appreciate having someone laugh at my polite request to please put on a mask when she came back to the window. I finally had to tell her to back off 6 feet, and simply leave my purchases in the window for me to handle on my own.... to keep her distance. The window & traffic noise necessitates that we have to yell or talk loudly to be heard, so it increases the spray from her mouth, just 4' from me and above me. in the window I wear a mask to protect her, but she wouldn't wear one to protect me. This event took place around 2:30 on Thursday, 5/28, in Rockdale, TX. The employee is a young woman in her late 20s or mid-30s, with long, dark blond hair pulled back into a bun or ponytail. I did not appreciate her attitude at all, and will look elsewhere to take my business if this behavior doesn't improve...and it hasn't improved one bit over the last 3 months by any of your employees. Please tell your employees to respect and protect us customers.
