My Maytag dryer stopped heating and it's was only seven years old so I figured I would try to repair it myself. I found a website "repairclinic.com" for appliance repair which has testing and replacement tips and videos to help you with your repair. The first item they suggested to check was the thermal fuse. And believe it or not it was bad. Now to find a replacement part. So many places on line but you have to wait for processing and shipping. If you're married you know there is no waiting for delivery. So I looked for an appliance parts warehouse in town "Automatic Appliance Parts Corp." I gave them a call, gave them my part number, 15 seconds later, I had conformation that they had the part in stock and the price was the same as what I saw online. The dryer was up running latter that day. It's great to have a facility like this with friendly people to help you.
