Kelly's Necchi- New Home Sewing Center started business in Rockford, Illinois in 1967. Things sure have changed in the Sewing Machine industry since then. Our first store was on Broadway & 7th Street, a nice old part of town. In 1978, we needed a larger store for our growing business, so we made the big move to Broadway & 8th Street. In 1991, we decided to move to the East end of town where we would be more centrally located. We have been at New Town Plaza II since then. Owner & Salesperson , Kelly has 34 years experience as well as being employed at NNHSC for the same duration. Kelly enjoys teaching a wide range of classes & enjoys meeting new people. Repair Technician , Rick has 36 years experience & has been employed at NNHSC for 10 years. Rick enjoys seeing people sew. He enjoys the pride & enjoyment that comes after their project is complete. Salesperson, Jeanette has 25 years experience and has been employed at NNHSC for 17 years. She has given a wide range of classes & enjoys every aspect of sewing. Salesperson , Sue has now been with us for 2 years. Sue is an accomplished quilter & has several years sewing experience. She looks forward to meeting & working with you. We have classes and clubs. We offer sewing machine repair on all makes and models. We have creative and instructional classes. We offer sewing machine sales, horn cabinets, sewing machine accessories and notions, software and technical support.
