That last review is totally malicious and I doubt she (?) knows the owners that well... They are kind, hardworking people through and through. They no longer own the space next to them. In regards to the store, there are no surprises; it serves its exact purpose. There are many Asian snacks and foods compacted into a small area and, while not as big or having as much produce as Golden Market on Broadway, it is cleaner and more welcoming to non-Asians. Most of the products here, however, are dry or frozen--not much fresh stuff. Many of the Asian products are Filipino (hence "Pinoy"), but there are some dry products from other countries like Japan and Malaysia.
