Founded in 1884, Rockford Public Schools provides elementary, middle school and high school level education to students. Based in Rockford, Ill., the schools provide educational services to all eligible school-age children in the Rockford area from grades pre-kindergarten through grade 12. There are over 30 elementary schools, six middle schools and seven high schools under the fold of Rockford Public Schools. They follow a nurturing, child-centered and parent-friendly learning approach. They also ensure that parents are partners in the education process.
