My mom is Thai, so I know Thai food. This place offers a real taste of Thailand, and the prices are reasonable.

I've visited several thai restaurants over the years and this is the best thai food I've ever tasted. My favorites are the red curry or panang chicken and my girlfriend loves the basil beef. The crab rangoons are out of this world and the fruit smoothies are great. Everything is very fresh and nicely presented. The staff is warm and friendly. We prefer the more casual,cozy atmosphere of their Sandy Hollow location but their location on 701 Highgrove PL off of S. Perryville in Rockford has beautiful, authentic decor. If you're visiting Rockford and love thai, make it a point to try Thai Hut.
