With the soul of a snow covered lodge and the repose of a sun soaked beach house, Bostwick Lake Inn sits aside the tranquil waters of Bostwick Lake on the outskirts of Rockford, Michigan. A century's worth of history and character can be felt amongst the warm hues and knotty pine of the "BLI". The four season deck is the favored spot for dining, with the option to enjoy a craft beer or cocktail on the beach during warm weather months. The restaurant menu is highlighted by farm fresh fare, smoked tinged shareables and imaginative takes on traditional American cuisine. Our regular guests rate the Potato Crusted Walleye and Crispy Brussels Sprouts as can't miss classics.

We had a fun time on the deck last week. The meals were great..too bad the live music was done for the season. Oh well..will need to come back for the deck and the music next year. A good, reliable Grand Rapids restaurant.

HORRIBLE & RUDE SERVICE. COLD FOOD. WASTE OF MONEY

My wife called for hours and was rudely hung up on. When we arrived a waitress very aggressively brushed us out of her way. To top it all off we could hear the kitchen staffs vugur fantasies about other staff members. Bostwick fire your unfit staff please

Terrible food, terrible service

My husband and I along with our girls visited this restaurant for the first time. We had always heard fabulous things about the food, service and atmosphere. We were terribly disappointed with both the food and service. The atmosphere was really nothing special. First, the menu offers many great sounding appetizers and entrees. We ordered the Neds Smoked Fish and crackers...terrible, very fishy and a very small amount for $7.95. We found bones in it; did not eat it and told the waitress, she did nothing. My husband and I ordered off the "special's menu". Very small amounts of food were served with way too many capers in both entrees. My daughters ordered off the kids menu, their food came out cold. To top the entire bad experience off I looked at my credit card receipt today and the waitress was kind enough to give herself a 20% tip, when I very kindly left her a little over 10%. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this restuarant to anyone!
