School of Medical Laboratory Science offers training as a medical laboratory scientist and was started in 1968. The school offers the opportunity to enter a challenging and highly technical career in the health care industry. Graduates may be employed by hospitals, private or government laboratories, research facilities, medical supply companies, private physician offices and clinics. Some of our graduates continue to pursue an education in medicine and become physicians. Sentara RMH Medical Center was founded in 1912 and is located in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
