Restaurant only

Since I'm local, I'll comment only on the restaurant. (We have had out-of-towners stay here, and they were very happy at the motel.) Unfortunately, the lunch buffet and dinner we've had in recent years are disappointing. There are very few choices at the buffet, and the quality of food is so-so. The dining room is lovely, bright, and the staff are friendly. I hope they do well - we're lucky to have this choice for a locally run place to stay, with a good (not great, or even excellent) place to eat on the grounds.

Best Buget Motel in the greater Harrisonburg Area

This place is an absolute bargin at the AAA rate. Only 6 miles from downtown Harrisonburg and close to a interstate exit. The place is very clean, at a safe location and every room has a wirlpool tub. The hotel restaurant is very good. The architecture reflects its 1920's origin.
