National Coating Corporation has been a specialty contract coater servicing a wide variety of markets, including the automotive market since 1951. Based in Rockland, Mass., the company has a state-of-the-art 70,000 square foot coating and saturation facility. NCC processes products based on carbon fabric, kraft paper, gasket materials, friction media, non-woven specialties, woven glass and cloth, glass mat, as well as cotton and paper. Our products go into vast array of finished goods such as Automotive Transmissions, Fuel Cells,  Filtration products, Consumer products, Composite & Laminate products and Electronics.

Coating capabilities include knife/gap coating, dip & squeeze saturation, tenter frame drying, roll/sheet & individual part saturation. Substrates typically include foam, carbon fabric, kraft paper, gasket materials, friction media, non-wovens (wet & air laid), film substrates, woven glass/cloth, glass mat, cotton & paper. Quality process control include temperature/airflow control, tension control, speed control, weight in-line scanning, in-line thickness measurement. Additional capabilities include mixing of water/solvent-based resins/additives, converting, sheeting & slitting. Warehousing, inspection, private label packaging & product testing services are available. Markets served include automotive, electronics, filtration, alternative energy, industrial & commercial. NCC meets or exceeds EPA standards and is TURA compliant.
