Gentle Dental is a great place, I have been a customer for over 10 years. The staff is great, the place is spotless, they have TV's, stuff for the kids....The dentist never tries to make up work , he only does the work that you need. Unfortunate the other reviewer graded them 2 stars because of the reviewers insurance coverage... that shouldn't reflect on the dentist

DR TOM AND HIS ENTIRE STAFF ARE WONDERFUL

The dentist and the office personnel are very pleasant so I will give them two stars. I have a DHMO dental plan that dictates a co-pay for every service performed. Their office apparently has a dental lab internally, which would normally be convenient and cost effective however it also apparently means that you are limited to what they manufacture there. When I got an estimate for a crown, my co-pay would have been more than double that of another comparable crown that was listed in my schedule of benefits. This to me is comparable to a monopoly and price fixing. I had no other options except what they dictated. I am changing dentists. My advice is: Call ahead to find out if the dentist's office is limited to certain products and services or if you have choices that would fit your budget better, especially if it involves a major dental procedure. Since Smile Time seems to be more of a corporation focused on a profit than patients, I would not choose any of their offices.
