Established in 1968, the Southern Hills Counseling Center is a nonprofit organization. It serves children, adolescents, adults, senior citizens and families in Perry, Dubois, Orange, Crawford and Spencer counties in Indiana. The center maintains a staff of more than 130 full-and part-time employees. The Southern Hills Counseling Center offers psychological assessment and psychiatric consultation services. It also provides individual, family and group counseling solutions. The center conducts educational programs, as well as offers rehabilitation day treatment services. The Southern Hills Counseling Center provides crisis intervention, emergency, case management and substance abuse treatment solutions. The center administers an intensive outpatient program, as well as offers community support services. It is a member of the Indiana Council of Community Mental Health Centers.
