Provided by YP.comThe ER room is terrible, outdated, little space for anyone that accompanies you, my husband had to stand the whole 6 hours, no privacy, I had two other people in the room, an old man in pain, moaning and crying, and a lady that was bleeding, from what it was described. 6 hour wait for an ultrasound to check for the low-grade right lower abdominal pain I had (I was suspecting appendicitis), after that I told them I'm leaving. I had follow-up with an OBGYN and CAT scan. Don't waste your time and money. One of the worst ER rooms I've been to.

Provided by YP.comOn an evening in early August, our daughter fell and broke a bone; after picking her up she started crying and yelling that she had a lot of pain. Within 5 minutes we decided to take her to the emergency at Shady grove Adventist which is very close to our home in Germantown . As soon as we crossed the door the receptionist was asking our daughter's name and other info which she started entering in the pc as we spoke. She directed us to sit down in the lobby, two minutes later, no more than that, a lady ask us to come in through the door into the ER facility and showed us a room, she explained that was a tech, that she would gather info and that a nurse would come by later. After asking questions about what happened to our daughter she moved us to a private room A few minutes after she left, the nurse came in and took vitals from our daughter, the nurse then said that the doctor would come next, and about a couple of minutes later the physician came in, looked our daughter and asked us to follow her, then started giving instructions to the radiologist, who took us past series of rooms with highly sophisticated equipment, and into the x-ray room where she took a couple of x rays, then we were told to wait in another room. The doctor came in after few minutes and showed us the x rays; then gave a prognosis, instructions and answered our questions, the she referred us to a bone specialist to visit within five days. The doctor showed a lot of empathy, and helped us relax our frayed nerves. All the staff were very efficient and I can attest that the treatment we received at this facility was better than what my daughter received at the Children's Hospital in Calgary during a visit when she was a baby..
