Provided by SuperpagesShort story: I took my 2002 745LI to this shop.... Airbag sensor came on so i had to see what the problem was... Car is in great shape for 90k miles... They called me and said it was just a loose sensor... Reset the sensor.... No - charge.... 97k miles and light has not come back on since.We all know what they could have done to me. They could have said anything... Sold me for work that may not have been needed etc. the mechanics are all veterans in the industry... All have worked for Dealers for years that would have handled this differently because the dealers mechanics have a different attitude with the car owner. I often talk with the mechanic that has worked on my car over the years to hear reasons a certain choice to proceed on a certain repair or not yet to repair an item. The hourly rate is 107.00 or 109.00 .. Somewhere between those two numbers.... Hourly rate at ROCKVILLE BMW (Old VOB) is over 170.00Sure i have spend money from time to time but why would i ever take the car to a Dealer if i have this level service. New owner as of January 2013... It will be interesting to see if they keep the same culture. Stepfen (sp?), the past head service writer bought it from the old owner. He has always been a good guy from my past experience and the guy who handled the sensor story i mentioned happened a year ago with me. Five Stars is a no-brainer here but we will see going forward. By the way, i just dropped my car off this morning and they drove me back to my house to use a extra car i have to drive as they check out my car for another problem. Saved me from getting rental or having my wife pick me up and bring me home. Their off to a good start are my thoughts... Also i think that any shop with a painted floor that is always spotless runs a clean operation and is a good sign. Provided by SuperpagesAugust 6th i took my car for repair confused thinking that they were part of the dealer and the shop did a very poor job with my x5, replace a door, removed my original window that was tinted gave me one with out, the door seems loose from the inside and is all rusted, they did a very poor job not even clean my car it was a disaster. This is the worst place to take a bmw dont waist your time go to the dealer. I will let all friends and family know about the poor job, poor customer service done at this location. Im not planing to visit them for repair for the rest of my life.
