Founded in 1916 as Scout Adventureland Forever, Camp Yawgoog is situated on more than 1,800-acres of wilderness in Rhode Island. Yawgoog is divided into three separate camps, including Three Point, Medicine Bow and Sandy Beach. Its camps share reservation program facilities, and offer various facilities to scouts. Yawgoog Scout Reservation is a part of the Narragansett Council, Boy Scouts of America. The council is a member of Rhode Island Association of Camps. Yawgoog comprises alumni from throughout the United States and other countries. It provides various programs and activities to scouts, and also provides sheath knives, radios, skateboards, bicycles, firearms, and archery equipment. Camp Yawgoog is located in Rockville, R.I.
