Provided by YP.comDO NOT RECOMMEND. Tony Meek will not pay bills on time. If and when you do get him to pay a bill, its months late, not even for the amount owed, and not even from his company name. I don't know how he runs his business, but here on earth, you buy something, you pay for it. I guess he just tries to hide behind his "Christian Based Company." So, NOT RECOMMENDED!!

Provided by YP.comJust awful. I stongly encourage you to find a more honest homebuilder. Please do your homework by visiting with existing Cornerstone homeowners before hiring Cornerstone. You'll be glad that you did and likely won't buy from Cornerstone. He talks a good game, but the supervision of subcontractors is nearly non-existent.

Provided by YP.comI am the owner of the company. The date of the previous two reviews makes it evident that this is the same individual. As a company, we had to seek legal action against this homeowner, who also sent a review as though he was a subcontractor. The individual did not pay over $20k of our contract and we had to seek legal action for this. He has decided to become melicious towards us by attacking our character, stance on building, ethics, finances, etc. I apologize for this.

Provided by YP.comDefinately NOT RECOMMENDED!!! I hired Tony Meek of Cornerstone Custom Homes to build a 6000 sq ft custom home. Initially, he sounded great, discussing everything in terms of his Christian business philosophy and work ethic. He prided himself on his ability to accurately provide cost estimates for each phase of the building process and guaranteed a 6 month build time for my home. We quickly found all of this was false. We ran 4 months past schedule with only one week of weather delays prior to getting the house "dryed in". He was not able to make budget on ANY phase of the project, because he usually could not show us a single item anywhere on the planet that could be bought and installed within his estimated budget (examples: garage doors, irons doors, fireplaces). We were therefore over budget just to install cheap track home fixtures. We later found out that he did not even look at our plans when he created the budget for our home, so he only bid 2 garage doors instead of 3, only kitchen granite when we had other bathrooms, wet bars, etc. Tony was basically an absent builder, seldom entering the building site for weeks at a time and he took no initiative to efficiently sequence his Subcontractors. He had no ability to multitask, keep records, or provide documentation for validity of the charges submitted by his subcontractors. There was no urgency to finish the project even when several months behind schedule. Most of his subcontractors do substandard work and Tony refuses to hold them accountable. His workers are mostly unskilled laborers who cannot speak English and usually work unsupervised thus leading to errors. Frequent occurrances: Walls incorrectly positioned, windows where doors should be, walls incorrect height, pipes in the wrong place, his Plumber is completely incompetent and the rudest man I've even met, broken / substandard floor joists, worker caused structural damage, every phase of the home was badly damaged by the next set of workers, etc. When I pointed out obvious errors, Tony insisted that the corrections not be made until much later in the building process, but then later, he would say "it is now too late to correct it". Many thousands of dollars and months were wasted due to his lack of presence at the building site to provide instruction, guidance, or quality control to the Subcontractors. In the end, he failed to pay numerous Subcontractors who then placed liens on my property costing me 30 thousand more. He now refuses to provide warranty work, and I am in the process of initiating a TRCC Investigation, and we have hired an Attorney to help us (another $10K) Avoid Cornerstone Custom Homes (Tony Meek) !!!!!

Provided by YP.comI used to work for Cornerstone. I am a Security System and Media Specialist. My Brother was once Tony's concrete/foundation subcontractor. We both quit working for him after he started asking us to take shortcuts, cut back on materials and pad the invoices so he could make a few more bucks. Then he didn't pay us for several jobs!!! He's a crook!!!!
