I have been a patient of Purvis foot and ankle for nearly 15 years. I have always paid my insurance co pays up front. After having seen other doctors for at least once or twice this month and with co-pays for each visit, I contacted this office to let them know that I really needed to see Dr. Moyer about my foot problems but asked if they could bill me for the co-pay this once until it received another paycheck. Although hearing on my last visit the receptionist asking another patient if they'd like to be billed for the payment, the receptionist told me that my apt had to be rescheduled if I did not have my co-pay. In other words, if I didn't have the money I would not be seen. I cancelled my apt and all future business with this office. I have also noticed that the office staff has not been as courteous as in the previous years.

I was recommended by a doctor for diabetic foot care and to my surprise they required at least 120.00 for the visit! Mind you that I have great insurance with a HRA account! All they had to do is call the number provided to confirm there is more than enough sufficient funds available, but they didn't! What ever happened to customer service...?

I have been seen by both Dr. Moyer and Dr. Purvis. Every visit I was treated by a very professional and caring staff and provided excellent services by the doctors. I appreciated having options in my care.
