Scott Tharrington, sold me a low mile 2003 Hummer H2 on Ebay. I had asked if there were any issues on the truck. He said nothing. Truck arrived and had numerous cosmetic issues mostly outside like cracking paint and body on the roof,paint runs, the entire truck was repainted poorly. Had a body shop inspect estimated $6000 of repair needed and commented on door replacement, firewall wrinkled from severe impact to front and rear. Frame rails bent. Did more investigating on the parasite, he owns a body and frame shop! How convenient. Criminal charges sought in legal petition. Hope to file soon and serve the punk.

After a minor accident on New Year's eve, I visited a number of auto-body repair shops in the area. Tharrington's stood head and shoulders over the rest. The office was clean and inviting, the staff friendly and professional. The quick, free estimate matched my insurer's numbers almost exactly. I left my car on the spot and was given a ride home. The damage was repaired flawlessly and in good time.I'll be using Tharrington's for my mechanical work from now on because I trust them to be honest and to do top notch work. Hopefully, no more body work for me, but I'd certainly recommend them to anyone else.

Kudos to Tharringtons Auto. Our daughter was driving from D.C. to New Bern recently and the drive belt on her VW beetle broke off. She just had it replaced 2 weeks ago in D.C. She was on I 95 heading south in Rocky Mount on a Thursday night. Friday morning I called Tharringtons. The car was towed to them and repaired by 2:00 p.m. Not only did they charge us very litte but they kept the car parked behind their locked gate until we could pick it up on that Sunday. They met us there at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday morning. What a relief. What a great business. My daughter drove home to D.C. and we are all very, very happy with Tharringtons and their incredible customer service.

I have started using Tharrington's to do my vehicle repairs & maintenance within the last 6 months.I have been very pleased with the professionalism,the way i have been treated,and last but cetainly most important to me...quality of work...getting the job done right the first time!I have NO complaints,i feel they only recommend repairs that are needed,and pricing has been very reasonable.I would definitely feel comfortable at this point to recommend anyone i know to have their car or truck serviced by Tharrington's.They are locally owned and operated,and the quality of work,speaks volumes that they take pride in what they do.

I have just started bringing my vehicles to Tharrington's after having a dealer in the Rocky Mount area charge us an arm & a leg for services that that didn't even fix the problem one of our vehicles had. Tharrington's has come in less on several estimates we've had (tires, brakes, timing belt, alignment, etc which were things that had to be replaced) and they work on VW's (which need lots of work-ugh-and it's hard to find anyone who will work on them). They have not recommended any work that my vehicles do not need (unlike many auto repair shops) and their honesty and reasonable prices have made me a very happy customer.
