FED UP!

Bought a boat from them(Robbie) in April 2013. It is October 14th, still have not completed my title and registration. The boat was in twice for recall work on motor. Told him each time that my livewell leaked. They put silicone around the top on the first trip. The second time I told him (Robbie) exactly how it was leaking, put more silicone around top, said they checked plumbing, still leaked. I called the manufacturer and they told me how to find the problem, when I removed a panel I found the problem in 2 minutes. I had to do the repair myself. When confronted with this he said they must have written the work order incorrectly. I'm past fed up with the service from this company!

Continuing to have problems!

This is a follow up from the previous review regarding my son buying the 25 hp Yamaha motor from Wooten's. Let me clarify one thing before I get started, the salesman at Wooten's name was Robbie Wooten, not Mike. Anyway, on the second use, the motor failed to go into gear. I haven't taken it back to Wooten's for repair and I won't since they have already scratched it one time. I will be servicing it at Knightdale where I know there is someone there I can trust. This has been a nightmare!

Mistake to buy from Wootens!

My son works at Walmart and he loves to fish. He bought a Jon boat a while back but needed a motor. So when he had saved up enough money we went to Wooten's Marine to buy a motor. He purchased a new Yamaha 25 hp motor. Immediately after we left we went to a local pond and ran it for a few minutes. It ran hot so I called the mechanic at Wooten's and explained it to him. He assured me it was ok. With that in mind, my son and I planned to go on a fishing trip with our church down east. When we arrived we unloaded the boat and got approx 1/4 mile out and the motor cut off. It started again and we went a short ways and it cut off for good. On monday we went to Wooten's and took the motor. We discussed the situation with Mike Wooten. We asked for a replacement since it was supposedly new. Of course that was not an option. The reason he gave was he made up some story about a man from Fayetteville buying up all of his 25 hp motors to clean up the oil spill in the gulf. Have any of you heard of

Back Stabbers......LIARS

Went in July to purchase a used boat from this dealer. I was instructed by a salesman (BUDDY) to bring in my trade. They gave me a price on what they would give me for my boat which I thought was a rip off. I said ok lets do the deal. This was Saturday. We looked at financing and paying cash. We decided to finance the boat. The salesman told me he will give me a call on Monday. Monday came and went. So did Tuesday I called him on Tuesday evening he said we still working on it I will call you. Wed. went by so did Thursday. So Friday I called several times left messages both times. Then Friday I get a call after 6p.m. its the salesman finally. He says hey sorry but your credit wasn't good enough to get the financing. I was shocked my credit score is 804! I said ok well whats the problem he couldnt explain. I said you know what I will just pay cash for the boat he said thats fine but the boat has been sold. IN ALL HE SOLD THE BOAT FOR A HIGHER PRICE TO SOMEONE ELSE. BAD BUSINESS!
